Dr. Darrin Thorvaldson is a member of the Manitoba Chiropractors’ Association, the Canadian Chiropractic Association, The International Chiropractors Association and the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association.

As a family practitioner, Dr. Darrin focuses on the concept of whole body health and wellness through gentle and specific chiropractic care. By using advanced chiropractic exam techniques such as thermal scanning, surface EMG scanning and X-ray analysis he develops a wellness plan that is unique to each of his practice members.

Tempest Thorvaldson, RMT, owner of Island Lakes Massage Therapy, saw a need for people to get help overcoming obstacles of pain and a disconnection with their bodies. Massage therapy provided an avenue for her to do that. She believes strongly in preventative health by maintaining a good foundation in the body.

Practicing massage therapy for more than seven years now, Tempest has furthered her education by taking courses in Craniosacral Therapy, Lymphatic Drainage, and Infant massage.

In their free time Dr. Darrin and Tempest enjoy spending time with their boys Lukas and Jakob.
